The Fire Barn Gallery presents FACT & FICTION IN BLACK & WHITE - WORK BY BOB WALMA, EDITOR OF THE GRAND RIVER TIMES.
Bob Walma is a Grand Haven photographer and creator of the satirical online newspaper The Grand River Times.
His images of the dramatic beauty of the area are depicted with obvious reverence and without a hint of irony, yet a lot of his other work is made with an intense sense of humor and a sarcastic wit which no one in Grand Haven is safe from.
His satirical reporting has become extremely popular and notorious since it began just over a year ago, many of his articles going viral, accumulating as many as a quarter million views.
The show will feature several examples of his photographs and collages as well as editor's proofs of some of the most popular Grand River Times articles.
The opening is Thursday July 16th, 6-8pm, with a presentation by the artist at 7pm.
